Hi, In this week’s I'm going to talk about my personal opinions on these controversial topics:

1.            What is your opinion about women in the military?

Well, I think women and men are equal in rights and capacities, so they can of course have a military career if they want. The thing I do emphasize here is that the prejudice and sexist thoughts should end, especially in an institution like the Army. We are in the 21st century, let’s stop with this retrograde thinking.

2.            What is your opinion about legalizing marijuana?

About marijuana, I regularly smoke it, so I say Yes. I think the legalization is something that will happen sooner or later; it’s a fact that a large number of people smoke marijuana, so I don’t know why the government doesn’t just regulate it and, in some way, end the microtraffic of marijuana.

3.            What is your opinion about legalizing abortion in some cases?

I say legalize it totally. Women must fully decide over their bodies, they make the decissions, not others, because they are the ones who get pregnant, not the society, and specially not men.

4.            What is your opinion about violence on television?

Well, violence is something present in all the spectrums of our society. In television they show us graphic and explicit violence, and that’s something we cannot hide, but what we can ban or end right now are the violent thoughts and opinions some of the famous people or politicians say on TV; people like José Antonio Kast being homophobic, racist and misoginistic should not appear on TV, people like Patricia Maldonado saying that the dictatorship was not violent, being mean and joking about the suffering of people is quite violent; so these are the main violence that should stop on TV.
